Northstar employees have been active contributors to local charities and organizations such as the Belle Bonfils Blood Center, Brokers Benefiting Kids, Save Our Youth, The Samaritan House Homeless Shelter, The Presidents Leadership Class at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Race for the Cure, The Sierra Club, Denver Kids, Citywide Banks Advisory Board, Denver Downtowner's Toastmasters Club, the National Sports Center for the Disabled, Habitat for Humanity, Unbound Grace, Colorado Republican Party Finance Committee, Republican Business Advisory Council, and The Metro Denver Executive Club. On the national level, contributions have been made to organizations including Volunteers of America, The American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Club, The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Mercy Ships International Board, Startup America Partnership Real Estate Committee, Opportunity International Board of Governors and President's Council, Legacy Political Organization, and The Alzheimer's Foundation.
